Birthdays and Babies and Engagements, oh my!

Birthday parties first!! I have two children so as a planner I have planned fun themed parties for all their birthdays. My son's first birthday was "The Chosen One" - Harry Potter themed, smash cake scene in the photo to the left. His second birthday was "Two the Moon" - he was obsessed with the moon. His third birthday was big machine themed - then, and currently, obsessed with all things dump trucks, diggers, and garbage trucks. Then my daughter's first birthday was "One Baby to Rule Them All" - Lord of the Rings themed, smash cake scene below. Other than my

children I have also helped coordinate other family birthday parties, but I do really enjoy it and I hope to be able to expand my resume in this area!

Engagements! I mean I love weddings more than I could describe, but watching someone get engaged - or celebrating someone's engagement - is just as fun! While I have never helped plan an engagement or engagement party, I have been lucky enough to be involved in one of my husband and I's best friends surprise engagement, as well as another surprise engagement of a friend of my cousin's! So, basically, it's a dream of mine to be able to help with an engagement from pre question pop to the big day after the "I do's"! Maybe someone reading this blog post can be the first person to make that dream come true! :)
